Terms and Conditions and Payments
Please ensure you read these terms before using our Plumbing or Drainage services. By using our services, you are agreeing to these terms. You’re also agreeing to our working Terms and procedures and our payment Terms.
For the purpose of these terms & conditions the following words have the following meanings:
“Us/We/Our” refers to Chelmsford Emergency Plumbers.
“You” refers to you: the customer (the person or organisation for whom we agree to carry out work and/or supply or materials).“Tradesperson/tradespeople” refers to the representative(s) appointed by Chelmsford Emergency Plumbers Plumbing or Drainage to carry out work.
Domestic Emergency Call Outs
After we have answered you call we expect to arrive within 60 minutes, in very rare circumstances the wait could be longer depending on our work load at the time. But we will keep you informed. Once we are on site we will evaluate the nature of the work required and give you a clearer picture of time and cost. Most plumbing emergency work takes no longer then one hour either to carry out a full repair or make safe.
Our Winter Emergency call out prices are listed below which includes one hours labour
0.600hrs - 17.00hrs - £88.00 including one hour labour
Once the period of one hour has elapsed then you will be charged a rate of £40.00 per half hour or part of.
Our Daily rate is £250 per day based on a 8hr per day this applys to domestic and Commercial Plumbing only. Our drain clearance prices are quotated for once on site.
Materials supplied by Chelmsford Emergency Plumbers have a mark up price of 20%.
You will only be charged for the time on site spent related to your work.
Collection of non-stock from local suppliers is inclued in the price.
Invoices & Payment
Once the job has been completed and you the customer are fully satisfied then full payment is required either by Cash Bank transfer Cheque or Credit or Debit card. All cutomers invoices shall be sent via email once payment has been recieved. All invoices exclude VAT. Chelmsford Emergency Plumbers reserves the right to accrue and charge interest on any part of an invoice which remains unpaid at a rate of 10% over the base rate until payment is received by us in full.
Where the date and/or time for work to be carried out is agreed, we will use reasonable endeavour to ensure that the Plumber attends accordingly. We accept no liability in respect of the non-attendance or late-attendance on site of the Plumber, or for the late or non-delivery of materials.
We will not be liable for any delay, or for the consequences of any delay, in performing any of our obligations if such delay is due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, and we will be entitled to a reasonable extension of the time for performing such obligations.
Customer Satisfaction & Guarantee
If you have a Plumbing Emergency in the middle of the night or the early hours of the morning we will do our up most to answer your phone call striaght away or we will call you back within three minutes, We do appreciate in a panic some people are unable to wait this long, It is not always possible for us to attend your emergency due to various unforeseen circumstances at the time of your call.
We aim to give a 100% Customer satisfaction for all our Plumbing work and providing a reliable and affordable service with a 18 Month guarantee on all our labour only. If payment is not met within the time specified then all guarantees are null & void. Liability
We will only be liable for rectifying our own guaranteed work, and will not be held responsible for any ensuing damage or claims resulting from other work overlooked or subsequently requested and not undertaken.
All materials used are of a good quality and WRAS approved and all come with a 12 Month manufactures guarantee
